Ben Hansen! UFO Investigations: Technology, and Techniques

Ben Hansen will present a two-part workshop! In the first segment Ben will discuss the methodical approach he employs for witness interviews, as well as the equipment and technology he recommends for gathering evidence. Ben will teach you the same methods and techniques he uses to train investigators from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Then, Ben will present a summary of his thesis work at Georgetown University entitled Predicting the Consequences of Global Reality Compromising Events. An example of a Reality Compromising Event (RCE) would be a global crisis created by extraterrestrial contact. Based on research of what we know about disasters and crises, Ben will predict whether the world is ready for a life-changing event such as direct extraterrestrial contact. Additionally, we will discuss what humankind can do to prepare psychologically and spiritually for the reality shift caused by such an event.

Inspired by The X-Files as a teen, Ben Hansen followed his dream and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in sociology and criminology. After college, he worked as a crime scene investigator for several agencies, including the Utah Crimes Task Force. A former Special Agent for the FBI, his expertise with equipment, especially night vision technology, has made him a leading expert in paranormal analysis. His television career first took off when he played a major role in creating a new investigative reality television show for SyFy Channel called Fact or Faked. Departing from the mainstream paranormal shows prevalent at the time, this show conducted observation-based field investigations and focused on alleged evidence already at hand. Since appearing on Discovery channel's Ghost of Morgan City, Ben recently completed his second season as star of Discovery’s blockbuster show UFO Witness with co-star Melissa Tittl. Additionally, Hansen shares awareness of the increased UFO sightings, documents civilian and pilot reports, and interviews on prominent television news shows.
