Community Healing Fire

No RSVP Needed - Donations for materials are optional and greatly appreciated

The healing fire takes our thoughts and prayers out to spirit, allowing us to transform ourselves and deepens our connection to Mother Earth. As part of the ceremony, we will use tobacco and sticks to make prayers that are placed into the fire. 

When we gather at the sacred fire, we become renewed in body, mind and spirit. This is a community ceremony open to everyone of every age. Please bring a drum or rattle if you have one.

Spider is a ceremony leader, medicine wheel teacher, herbalist and founder of Vortex Energy Bodywork. She worked with Grandmother Twylah Nitsch for close to thirty years and spent the last forty years developing Vortex Energy techniques for healing people and the planet. Her book credits include Vortex Energy, Grandmother Spider and the Web of Life, Songs of Bleeding, All Our Relations Medicine Wheel for Children, and Grandmothers of the Four Winds. Spider lives in Fredonia where she shares personal and group fire healing ceremonies; Taino Glyph, Medicine Wheel and Animal Teachers readings; Spider Herbs healing preparations; and Vortex Energy healing sessions.
