Creating Healing Jewelry with Susan Barnes

Gem stones can aid in the healing process. In this workshop people will select different stone and turn them into personal jewelry. Gem stones have healing, spiritual, and protective qualities. For example, quartz is a stone for healing and amethyst is used in spirit communication. Making jewelry with these attributes is not difficult. In this workshop making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings will be covered. Students will intuitively select the correct stones for their spiritual or physical needs. Everyone will go home with a piece of jewelry they made. Moreover, the piece will have a healing attribute. Meaning of gemstones; making stretch bracelets; creating gemstone necklaces; designing drop earrings.

Dr. Susan B. Barnes, CSNU, is a retired Professor of communication at Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a certificate from the Spiritualist National Union. She has been a tutor on SNUi and currently teaches mediumship and spirit art classes for Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment. Dr. Barnes is the author of Unfolding Physical Mediumship and Visual Spirituality. There is an additional class fee of $5.00 for materials.
