Discovering the Sound of Your Truth

Join us in a meditative sound bath where we will renew our sense of connection with self and source. In this class we will discuss the importance of the human voice, and how it connects with the expression of our true selves, as well as what it means to resonate with our truth. After a brief background of the voice, sound, and tools of sound therapy, we will spend the rest of the time immersed in a sound bath and guided meditation, as we begin to connect with our chakras and remove any blockages that may be present. During this meditation we will utilize quartz crystal bowls attuned to the chakras to connect in with each of the chakras individually. We will proceed to connect with source, feel for who we are in our purest form, relish in this feeling, and bring it with us as we interact with others.

Jake Kennedy has participated in the Lily Dale Children's Program since 2010. Over those years he has worked with and learned from musician Barry Goldstein, and is very thankful for Dr. Patricia Bell, Kindra McCabe, and Janice Dreshman who greatly helped and supported him in developing his intuitive abilities. He has taken classes with Mark David, psychic medium and sound healing practitioner, and has provided music therapy with Bob Kiss during meditations and Reiki sessions during the Transformational Voyage cruise in 2020. Jake has planned and taught "Music for the Fairies" in the 2020 Children's Program and has held a sound healing workshop/sound bath in December, "Healing Sounds for the Holidays". Jake is currently enrolled at the Globe Institute of Sound and is working toward his Associates’ Degree in Sound Therapy, and is also a certified sound therapy practitioner from the Globe Institute. Jake's passion for music has enabled him to connect deeper with the Divine Light and instilled a desire to share that love and connection with others through his gift of musical expression.
