Mindfulness is an ability to stay in the present moment without judgment. With practice, you can train your mind to increase the amount of time spent in the moment versus ruminating about the past or fretting about possible futures. Learn to invest it in the moment where it may be leveraged to your greatest advantage.
The evidence of life improvements produced through meditation has steadily accumulated over the past 4-5 decades. The “off the cushion” benefits are quite simply amazing.
Meditation instruction is offered to diverse groups such as students, police officers, military and veterans, prisoners, athletes, and business executives. It is recognized to create a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. It is now often added to treatments for anxiety, depression, PTSD, immune system, and numerous stress related conditions. In this workshop, Paul offers highlights from a weekly meditation series he developed and offers to organizations.
The exercises are designed to gradually ratchet down overcharged 21st century nervous systems so that participants can progressively develop a meditation practice. As a bonus, he uses his hypnotherapy skills to help participants develop their meditation practice. If you have had trouble sitting in meditation this one's for you.
Chairs are available for those unable to sit restfully on the ground.
Paul DiFranco, MLHR, BA Psychology offers hypnotherapy, mindfulness meditation and yoga, all of which align mind, body, and spirit towards a common purpose. He assists individuals and groups in optimizing their health, performance, and in some cases make life-changing transformations. As a consultant in the Greater Cleveland area he brings a wealth of experiences from his coaching, consulting, and training roles to his workshops.
