Old Dawg Bluegrass - Opening Day Concert
Time & Location
About the Event
Old Dawg Bluegrass Band has played at over 100 different venues throughout western New York and Pennsylvania, including festivals, parks, historical societies, cafes, and theaters. From a Taste of Buffalo to Allegany State Park, from Gowanda Heritage Festival to Kinzua Heritage Festival, from Wellsville Art Center to Union Station in Erie, Old Dawg has performed bluegrass music or "folk music in overdrive" as bluegrass has frequently been called.
Veterans of many bluegrass bands, Steve Eng, Bill White, Steve Strom, and Mark Davis formed Old Dawg Bluegrass in 2007. Coming from different backgrounds, they are known to fuse traditional bluegrass, gospel, jazz, country, blues, folk, and rock.
Audiences love the excitement of Old Dawg's smooth harmonies and hot instrumental breaks. That's why fans say, "You gotta hear this band". And you can hear them in concert on the Lily Dale Auditorium stage.
