About the Event
Location: Octagon
The sweat lodge is a sacred purification ceremony practiced for generations within many Indigenous traditions. The experience begins with teachings in the Octagon (2:00–4:30 PM) exploring the symbolism of the lodge, the sacred stones, the four directions, and the ceremonial process.
Participants will then gather at Lily Dale Beach (4:30–8:00 PM) for a gentle lodge ceremony, designed to provide a respectful and accessible experience for those new to the practice.
Those who prefer not to enter the lodge due to the intensity of the heat are welcome to participate by holding space outside the lodge in support of the ceremony
