About the Event
The 5-Elements, a study of nature and how we identify with the elements, has its roots in Chinese medicine. Understanding these elements helps us stay in balance physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Wood, fire, earth, metal, and water each have unique and fundamental expressions in all we do. By learning to recognize these expressions, we begin to see emerging patterns and can predict outcomes and reactions. Because nature repeats patterns, so do the elements. This workshop will employ Qigong, meditation, movement with sound, and acupressure points to examine the power of the 5 elements in our lives.
Robin King has been a student and teacher of the martial arts since 1982. She is a graduate of the 500-1000- hour program at Zenwellness Silver Coin and owns Stoneboro Kungfu and Tai Chi.
