The Ghost Hunters saga: Trailblazers of the Paranormal

When Ghost Hunters first aired in 2004 on the SYFy Network, no one could have dreamed it would span for 230 episodes, 10 specials, and 11 seasons. It brought the hobby of ghost hunting into the spotlight, following Jason Hawes and a team of investigators into haunted homes and businesses across North America.  Hawes and his original cast of investigators, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, were selected to reboot the show on the Discover/Travel Channels in 2019 as Ghost Nation. The immediate success of the show became complete when Shari DeBenedetti was reunited with the others in the second season. Discovery+ was able to transform the show back to Ghost Hunters in 2021. Sit back and enjoy the story of their saga, as this team of investigators and tight-knit friends leads you through the stories of their favorite episodes, locations, and behind-the-scenes antics. Back in the 1990s, an elite team was chosen to document their paranormal investigations on the SyFy TV Network. The highly successful show, Ghost Hunters, aired for 12 seasons with original members Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango. Shari DeBenedetti joined the show in the final 2 seasons before it ended on the SyFy network. This team brought the topic of supernatural occurrences to the forefront of the television industry and American culture. Since the original show ended, these Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) teammates stayed current working cases together, documenting & continuing their research. In 2019, the Discovery/Travel network show re-booted the show as Ghost Nation with the original team members Jason, Steve and Dave. Shari was soon reunited with them. They revisited their most chilling cases and investigated new, disturbing haunts, aided by Dave's addition of state-of-the-art technology. The success of the reboot proved that the TAPS team never skipped a beat with fans and followers, and after just two seasons of Ghost Nation, the Ghost Hunters name returned in 2021. And now a variety of interested celebrities join in the hunt! This thrilling show continues to captivate both old fans and new followers as the leading show of the paranormal.
