About the Event
Formed in 2004, the Rustic Ramblers are keeping the great sounds of classic, traditional country music alive in Western New York. Each member excels on his instrument, and the combined total of music experience in the group exceeds 200 years.
Howard Buck of Fredonia plays electric guitar and sings lead and harmony. He started performing at the age of twelve.
Gene Hilts of West Valley is the electric pedal steel guitar player. He is widely recognized as one of the best in the business.
Jim Lamphere (Frito), who comes from a locally famous family of musicians, plays bass guitar by ear. One of the best intuitive fretless bass players in the business, he once toured Europe playing bass for the Grand 'Ol Opery star, Little Jimmy Dickens. He also contributes his vocals to the Rustic Ramblers.
Dave Bailey from Hartfield plays drums and sings lead for the group.
At every performance of the Rustic Ramblers you will find a loyal fans, and if there is a space for dancing, well, so much the better. Prepare for pure enjoyment hearing the Rustic Ramblers in concert at the Lily Dale Auditorium.
