YOGA WITH TREES

This workshop features connecting deeply with trees through partnering with them for a very gentle yoga practice. The focus is on the trees and inviting your relationship with them to deepen. We will engage the qualities of mindful breathing, present moment awareness with trees, and gentle movement and stretches with the tree as your chosen partner. Our time together will include the following practices with trees: retrieval of memory, guided imagery, tree gazing, and learning to cleanse our auras with a fallen branch. Prepare to have time slow down as you work with the energy of trees! 

This is a practice that can be incorporated into your life for calming, happiness, and relief from pressure and anxiety. 

Bio: Jenny Garrison is a teacher of gentle yoga and inner world imagery. She brings a kind and powerful presence into her teaching and writing. With a background in nursing, Kripalu yoga, and years of practice with guided imagery, she invites and nurtures inner discovery in her classes, writing and workshops. Jenny is a past president of Imagery International. She is the author of “Imagery In You; Mining for Treasure in your Inner World,” and is currently writing a book about Yoga with Trees.
