Writing with Tarot with Susan Merson

Session Description: TAROT has been used as a divination system since the 1600’s when it developed from an Italian court game. Over the years, the cards have been designed and redesigned with symbols, images and energies included to make them a rich channel of intuitive information .Through meditation and engagement the cards can help us unlock our own intuitive natures and provide guidance and inspiration.  Our Class will include:-A group reading; We will explore the landscape of the card you choose and offer a way to enter the world of the card and connect it to your own journey; -Each writer will learn their soul, year and personality card from which they can create essay or self- reflective pieces; Have available the images of the RIDER WAITE deck ( online images are everywhere). I will provide images from other decks that will further open the worlds of the cards. Bring an open heart, a flexible field of vision, and curiosity!

Presenter Bio: Susan started her study of tarot in the 1970’s at the Theosophical Society in New York City. Since those workshops with the tweedy mystics of the Upper East Side, she has continued her study in workshops with Rachel Pollack, Mary Greer and Ellen Goldberg among many others.  She has been a guest reader at the MAGICAL WOMENS CONFERENCE in London and for the FICTION CENTER in NYC among other spots. Recently she has developed two classes: TAROT FOR HOW YOU TICK and TAROT FOR WRITERS. She also has 5 TAROT FOR WRITERS You Tube episodes to introduce writing and plotting tips to be found by using the Tarot cards.  She has an active tarot counseling practice
