Creating Spirit Art with Dr. Susan Barnes CSNU

Session Description:  Creating Spirit Art is a workshop designed for fun and creativity. Come and explore the ways in which artwork can aid in the process of giving spiritual messages to yourself and others. The course will include short lectures and activities. Participants will learn about and experience different styles of spirit art, including automatic drawings and auragraphs.  Automatic drawings are scribbles, twisting, and interlacing lines that permit the germ of an idea to move from the subconscious mind to the conscious one. It also brings forward hidden thoughts from your higher self. Profound insight and spiritual messages can come from these automatic images. Auragraphs are psychic drawings that use color, shapes, and symbols to share messages with ourselves and others. Learn how the spirit world can use these signs to communicate with us. Be prepared to experiment with these artistic styles and explore their messages. Come and experience the ways in which art can enhance your mediumship and your life.  No artistic skills required. You will need pencils, watercolor pencils, pastels or crayons, and plain paper to do the exercises.

Presenter Bio: Dr. Barnes is a retired communication professor who has written 11 books including Visual Spirituality. She is also a certificate holder from the Spiritualist Nation Union in speaking and demonstrating mediumship. Susan has been trained in Life Coaching at the Edgar Cayce Center and regularly attends their study groups.
