About the Event
Until about 500 years ago, little was understood about the nature of the material world. Effects that were not understood, especially effects related to the mind, were called magic. As science developed, some of these mysteries began to yield to rational explanations, and old beliefs about magic were dismissed as mere superstition. But as science continues to delve deeper into the nature of reality, we are discovering to our surprise that some of those ancient ideas and practices were correct after all.
